Product Description

This is a new replacement original Herman Miller rocking base for the Eames arm and side fiberglass shell chairs. RAR bases remain very iconic in its meticulous metal rod design, complete with a beautiful, natural light Ash wood rocking base. Firm and sturdy, this rocking base, attached to beautiful Eames fiberglass shell chairs, will make a fantastic addition to the comfort of your homes. 

The original RAR base discontinued in 1968, which only came in 4 variations: Zinc and Black oxide for the frame, and Birch or Walnut for the base runners. Now it is available in different woods, including Walnut and light Ash wood. 

If bought in large quantities, bases may be deconstructed – instructions will be provided.
